Firstly we would purchase 4 new sets of velcro on bibs (alternative colour to our normal purple), that we could use when we have colour clashes with one particular team to make it easier for both clubs to tell who’s who.
The balance we would use to purchase some decent training balls. Netballs are not cheap and they don’t last forever. We can’t afford to purchase a heap of new balls every season, so our training balls are mostly passed their use by date and don’t offer a training experience that is game like as the balls we train with are in a much poorer condition (less grip) than the match ball we use.Often our match balls have been rejected by the umpires too so we have had to use the opposition clubs ball instead.
An injection of $2000 would enable us to give a brand new match ball to each team for the rest of this season and hopefully next season and the balls we currently use for match balls could be used for training lifting the overall standard of balls available to the club.
